The wild Michel in the heart of the Black Forest
At an altitude of almost 1000 meters, surrounded by deep green forests, an ancient Black Forest farm awoke from its hibernation in 2021.
With creative vision and a zest for action, a hostel was created for anyone looking for a place to rest and relax away from everyday life.
A cult venue for events, concerts and festivals - with a restaurant, campsite and other accommodation surrounded by the dark beauty of the Black Forest.

Malaka Hostel

Beats that build bridges. A musical explosion of diversity!
With their explosive mix, which the band themselves describe as ‘Global Umpa’, Malaka Hostel effortlessly tear down the invisible wall between band and audience. Folk elements, whether from the Balkans or the Andes, find their place – carried by Malaka Hostel’s grooving beats, whilst the brass section, consisting of trumpets and harmonica, bursts forth.
In March 2026, their third studio album, Brucca Beat, was released – a soundtrack for what unites us in turbulent times. In it, Malaka Hostel build bridges between people, languages and musical worlds.
Their mission: collective dance ecstasy!

This ear candy comes from Totti, Andi Arbeit and Alex – the most rock-solid men’s core band between Castrop-Rauxel and Wesel, at the very least!
The charming music of these three lads gives you everything you need after a week of hard graft: the urge to party, a pint and a pogo. Because Schockromantik make music for blokes who don’t eat a pizza-burger, but have a pizza first and then a burger, followed by 113 push-ups and a crate of beer. This is punk that’s thrashed into the corner with a pickaxe, on Sunday mornings, hungover and on the skids. Rock and roll like a hard liver punch that lovingly strokes your cheek. But enough of this rambling. Better crack open a bottle of Stauder and treat yourself to Schockromantik – your girlfriend does it too!
In their almost 20-year band history, Schockromantik have toured and continue to tour with bands such as No Use For A Name, Terrorgruppe, Abstürzende Brieftauen, Pöbel & Gesocks, Betontod, Massendefekt, Kassierer and many more."

The band’s performances are always an experience, taking place in an atmosphere that lies somewhere between the Berlin underground and a pompously ornate French salon.
The Wörmwood Scrubs

With “Knackered PunkMod”, The Wörmwood Scrubs are releasing their debut album. All the tracks were written between 2024 and 2026, recorded independently in the band’s basement rehearsal room – and are consequently raw, direct and unpolished.
Musically, the band moves between classic punk rock and 70s mod revival influences.
The result: 12 tracks full of catchy hooks, driving energy and deliberately stripped-back production.
No frills, no overthinking – just punk.
Fritten und mein Mädchen

FRITTEN UND MEIN MÄDCHEN are the four rascals you were never allowed to play with in the sandpit back in the day, because they always had a switchblade in their nappies. Half a lifetime later, not much has changed – except that nappies have turned into skinny jeans and switchblades have turned into killer hits.
You can make of that what you will, but we’d be delighted if you brought your mum along to our gigs. Wink.
