Die Location

Wild, warm, homely, different - a place for those who think differently.
The wild Michel in the heart of the Black Forest
At an altitude of almost 1000 meters, surrounded by deep green forests, an ancient Black Forest farm awoke from its hibernation in 2021.
With creative vision and a zest for action, a hostel was created for anyone looking for a place to rest and relax away from everyday life.
A cult venue for events, concerts and festivals - with a restaurant, campsite and other accommodation surrounded by the dark beauty of the Black Forest.

More about the bands
From punk rock to pirate metal to rock “n” roll. From thrash metal to alternative rock to death metal – there's something for everyone at Heavy Michel Days 2026.
See, read and hear for yourself.

El Flecha Negra
Modern Thrash Metal
Dust Bolt – Germany's metal band of the younger generation! Not even of legal age at the time, they won the Wacken Metal Battle Germany. This was followed by a record deal and a successful world tour including the USA and Asia. And they are continuing to build on this success!
‘Break clichés and maintain traditions! Our mission is to make metal a powerful voice for young people again,’ is the unanimous opinion of the Munich band. "Kids today don't relate to Ozzy Osbourne and other veterans of the boomer generation. They need music that reflects their contemporary emotions. Anger at politics and society, disorientation, everyday worries and fears about the future make the world an uncertain place. They need an outlet for this – and something to give them courage again.
No other genre of music can convey this as authentically as metal," says frontman Lenny.

Spicy Roots
Melodic Death / Black
Founded in Saarbrücken in 2015, THE SPIRIT have emerged from the depths of the German extreme metal underground to spread their cosmic terror across the world.
With a magnificent blend of black metal and death metal, the band's music is characterised by impressive guitar riffs and melodies.
Their lyrics and concepts often revolve around an astronomical theme – the band combines a misanthropic worldview with cosmic metaphors and a call to view our often narrow-minded and egocentric existence in the larger context of the entire universe.

Brasserfälle
Alternative / Independent Rock
In 2002, LACUNA released their critically acclaimed debut album ‘and the frog says...’ with producer Guido Lucas (Union Youth, Blackmail, Harmful), and the band played on the main stage at the Bizarre Festival, among other venues.
‘and the frog says...’ was then released in a modified version (including the EP hit ‘Fault Finder’ (VISIONS All Areas Track, among others)) in the United Kingdom in 2005. Among other things, there were great reviews/features in KERRANG, in the English METAL HAMMER (including the sampler contribution ‘Valvoline’) and even the Daily Star (!) gave the band an album review.
After their second album ‘nuée ardente’ and the bridging EP “rotosphere”, the current album ‘oceangoing’ was released, produced by Kurt Ebelhäuser (DONOTS, BLACKMAIL, PASCOW, among others) and mastered in London by Richard Kayvan (BELASCO, among others).
So you can look forward to evenings filled with powerful guitars, gripping grooves, swirling bass and fine melodies.
