The dead man in the beer barrel

During this year's traditional folk festival at the "Zum Roten Pilz" pub in Linach, a male body was found in a beer barrel. It is currently unclear whether it was an accident, suicide or even murder, but the situation in which the victim was found gives rise to suspicions that the latter was the case.

Questions about possible motives and alibis of possible suspects need to be clarified.

Conditions of participation:

Number of participants: Minimum 3 participants, maximum 8 participants

Duration: approx. 2 – 2.5 hours

Cost: € 34.00 per person / dog team including drink and small snack

Please indicate any food intolerances or allergies when registering. If nothing is stated, it will be assumed that the dog has no intolerances.

Registration & Payment:
You can register on the "Schlabberschnuten" website. Only registering and paying in advance will secure you a place on the crime hike. You can pay via PayPal or bank transfer. The payment details will be sent to you after registration.

Equipment required:

- sturdy shoes, rain protection depending on the weather

- well-fitting chest harness with at least 2m long leash (no flexi leash) Max. leash length: 5m

- for dogs that walk well on a leash, a wide collar with a lead of at least 2 m is also permitted (leashes are compulsory during the entire crime hike)

- Treats and poop bags

Who can participate?

Neither dog nor human need any previous experience or special knowledge.

In addition to fun, the focus is on the cooperation between humans and dogs.

There is NO pressure to perform for the individual, as the entire team of participants needs to work together to solve the “criminal case”.

The dog should be older than 12 months but does not have to meet any special requirements and certainly does not have to be the best in the class at the dog school to take part.

The only important thing is that the dog can tolerate the presence of other people and dogs and that the person it belongs to is also cool :-)

In the interest of everyone, participating bitches should not be in heat.

Dogs that want a larger individual distance or wear a muzzle in everyday life are welcome, as long as longer runs in a group do not cause too much stress.
