About the event
Kächeles rely on stunning situational comedy, genuine dialect and the resounding impact of their two characters. The scenes, the dialogues and the punchlines presented in them are accurately taken from real life. From cleaning out the basement to Heidi Klum and WhatsApp messages to "Weight Watcher women", the Swabian comedy duo engages in a hot-blooded battle of words with hearty wordplay.
Käthe and Karl-Eugen celebrate the madness of intermarital relationships. In their cabaret programs, they provide a deep insight into the labyrinth of a Swabian marriage. Kächeles - two Swabians who can't get along with each other, but definitely can't get along without each other! Two characters who couldn't be more different collide head-on here. The irrepressible, feminine urge for activity meets unbridled comfort and the elementary wishful thinking of lying limp on the sofa at home. A cabaret delight with a firework display of punchlines in a class of its own!
The “stage marriage” of the Swabian comedy duo has now lasted for almost 20 years.
